If you see us out and want to be interviewed, come say hi! If we're filming, you can wait until we're finished and then come up, or if one of our producers is standing nearby, you can speak with them. We can’t always interview everyone, but we’re happy to include people if the schedule allows.

The easiest way to get picked is simple: be friendly, be ready to talk and be cool with being recorded.

Definitely, but with caveats. Group interviews can be fun, but they can also get unmanageable with larger groups, so we tend to limit the interviews to three or four people at most. However, any friends not being interviewed can hang out behind you to provide moral support while you're interviewed!

Of course! You’re welcome to laugh along and boost the vibe. Just try not to overpower the interview or talk over the person being interviewed.

As long as you keep the good energy but ditch the crazy energy, we're good with having you hang out. Chaos just for the sake of chaos isn't great content.

Sure! Just not during our normal nightlife filming. Because we primarily film in nightlife districts and adult social spaces late at night, our regular street-filming sessions are generally limited to people who are 21+, with ID.

Please note: for legal and safety reasons, we generally don't interview anyone under the age of 18. On the rare exceptions when we do, a parent or legal guardian must give permission, sign a media release and be present for the interview.

Yes. Before we interview you, we’ll ask you on-camera if you’re cool with being recorded and having the clip posted online. It keeps everything clear for you and for us.

We're definitely not interested in forcing anyone to be interviewed, so if you don't want to be filmed, no problem! Just make sure to let us know when we ask you to be involved.

TNSG content is posted online, mostly on TikTok and Instagram, though we may also share clips on other TNSG platforms. We may also edit clips into future compilations, promos or other related TNSG content.

You can definitely ask us to remove a video you're in, though there's no guarantee we'll take the video down.

Requests related to safety issues (like your personal address appearing clearly in the video) or inappropriate moments (like a wardrobe malfunction) will always be taken seriously, but normal self-consciousness or being worried about who might see the clip later isn’t an automatic take-down reason. That includes concerns like “I don’t want a future boss to see this,” “my parents might see this” or “people might judge how I acted.” We get why that can feel stressful, but if we took down every clip for those kinds of reasons, TNSG couldn’t really exist.

If you're the only person in the video, we may have more wiggle room, but if the video includes other people, or if your clip is part of a larger compilation, we're not likely to remove it, because taking it down affects everyone else who participated.

Sometimes people respond to us refusing to remove a video by saying they revoke their permission or by threatening to sue us for defamation, but you should know that changing your mind later doesn't automatically mean we have to remove a video you agreed to be in, especially if it was filmed in a public or public-facing space and doesn't include defamation, harassment, illegal content or something genuinely unsafe. Defamation generally requires a false claim: if a video shows what you actually said or did, and we didn't add false claims about you, that isn't defamation.

Please know that our goal isn’t to make anyone look bad, it’s to capture real nightlife and all that comes with it. Sometimes that means you might not look your best or you might come across a little silly on camera, and while that might feel uncomfortable later, it's not a valid reason to remove the video. Not appearing perfect is a normal part of candid street interviews, especially when drinking is involved, and most people won't judge you for it.

Important note: We consider all take-down requests but, except for the reasons mentioned above, if a video has already gone viral or is getting popular quickly, we're probably not going to remove it. Viral clips are a big part of how a channel like TNSG survives and grows, especially early on, so taking one down can dramatically affect the entire project.

Drinking is a massive part of the nightlife world, but we're not trying to exploit people who have clearly had too much to drink. We won't film with someone who can't stand on their own or is obviously slurring their words.

TNSG videos aren't scripted, so your answers are your own! We want real reactions, real opinions and real personality.

That said, “unscripted” doesn't mean “say racist, hateful or seriously harmful stuff and expect us to post it.” If you cross that line, we're not posting the clip, and depending on what was said, we may call it out.

New clips are generally posted the week after a filming night. We aim for weekly updates, but filming, editing and scheduling can shift, so timing may vary.

We ask about nightlife culture, dating, relationships, social behavior, red flags, club etiquette, safety and whatever question feels right at the time.

The goal is to get answers that feel real, funny, honest or interesting.

Not at all! Along with interviews, we film 1v1 trivia, bouncer perspectives, interactive comedy challenges, behind-the-scenes moments and the occasional bit of chaos.

We’d love to work with you for nightlife coverage, on-site interviews, hosted content and social media collaboration. It depends on our schedule and the travel distance.

Not a thing! TNSG is generally available to film at no cost to venues with lively, social, camera-friendly nightlife crowds. Areas outside our local coverage region of California’s Central Coast may require a reasonable fee to cover travel and lodging expenses.

Specifics depend on the date, location, access, schedule and venue coordination.
