Have you ever been in downtown SLO on the late night tip, dancing your stress away in the clubs or just hanging out with friends until the wee hours, and then you realized you were starving? It’s likely you’ve stopped in to Tonita’s, one of the only restaurants in downtown SLO open after 9:30p. They’re in walking distance from all the clubs on Higuera, so on any given club night, you’ll find a gaggle of 20-somethings contentedly chowing down, socializing and recovering from their excess. But they’re not just a late night spot, they’re open 9a to 10p on Monday and Tuesday, and 9a to 3a Thursday through Saturday! The next time you’re downtown and feeling peckish, check them out – and tell them Namu sent you!
